  • Nikeela Abrams, Founder

    Nikeela is a former professional racehorse jockey and a practicing family law attorney and mediator.. Nikeela suffered a spinal cord injury (T7) in a horse racing accident in 2018. Prior to her accident Nikeela enjoyed a very active lifestyle. One of the hardest adjustments post accident has been finding ways to still be able to go on adventures and enjoy nature. Nikeela is passionate about advocating for accessibility in all areas of life! In 2023 Nikeela founded Idaho For All to improve access to Idaho’s beautiful outdoors!

  • Tara Malek, Board Member

    Tara is an Idaho licensed attorney with a personal why-the pursuit of justice. She is a first generation Iranian American, former state and federal prosecutor, current small business owner of the law firm Smith + Malek, PLLC. Tara believes strongly that it is our civic duty and responsibility to give back where we can and to make the communities in which we live a better place. A passionate outdoorswoman, Tara wants to make sure that all Idahoans, whether able-bodied or not, can access all areas of our beautiful state

  • Linda Bequette, Board Member

    Linda is a former second grade teacher and children’s librarian. A native of Idaho, she and her husband work to protect and conserve the ecology of this beautiful state. Since becoming a lower limb amputee in 2014 Linda has come to appreciate the difficulties physically disabled people experience accessing the outdoors.

  • Leah Petersen, Board Member

    Leah is a former motorcycle stunt rider and currently a software engineering manager VP in the financial technology industry. Leah enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs and riding her horse. As someone who grew up running wild on a farm and now has lived in urban areas for most of her adult life, Leah understands the importance of access to nature. Leah hopes Idaho For All can reduce barriers for individuals and allow them to experience the healing, energizing and natural beauty of Idaho’s state parks more easily.
